The United Soccer Coaches Convention is enormous. It is easy to get overwhelmed and miss out on some amazing features, experiences, and people.
5 Days…6,500 Coaches…14,000 attendees…250+ Sessions…hundreds of exhibitors…Field demonstrations…Lecture sessions…Networking…Socials…Awards…Diplomas…barely scratches the surface of what you will find at the Convention.
As always, we are here to help you out! We don’t want you to miss out on anything, so here are a few tips and tricks for the first-timer.

Before You Register
Visit the Registration Information section for the 2020 United Soccer Coaches Convention rates, registration deadlines, to see what is included with your registration, as well as policies.
The United Soccer Coaches Convention is a beneift of membership with United Soccer Coaches. If you are not a current member, a one-year membership fee ($125) will be added onto your registration. If you are unsure of your current member status, please contact the Member Services Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before You Travel
Housing & Travel Information:
United Soccer Coaches has secured the best rates with the closest proximity to the Baltimore Convention Center. Click here to view the 2020 Convention Housing Map.
NOTE: You will receive the link to the Hotel information AFTER your complete your registration.
Plan Dates of Trip:
If possible, it is a good idea to arrive early on Day 1 of the Convention to register and to get familiar with Baltimore Convention Center for easy navigation in between sessions.
The Convention is a week full of events of varying types. It is important to pack for the events you are participating in, whether that includes educational sessions, meetings, and/or socials events.

Use the official 2020 Convention hashtag to get updates and to see what’s going on throughout the weekend. Then keep up with everyone and everything that’s going on by following the United Soccer Coaches on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Find Registration and Check in:
You can usually expect a line at registration on the first day, so plan on arriving AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to the start of the Convention.
Learn From Experts:
Attend the First-Time Attendees’ Rookie Experience Information Session.
NOTE: No additional registration required! More information to come.
While You Are At Convention
Be sure to check out the Digital Signage located throughout the Baltimore Convention Center and the Hilton Baltimore (headquarter hotel) for schedule changes and updates.
Take Advantage of Networking Opportunities:
The United Soccer Coaches Convention is the largest coaches gathering in the world, take advantage of it and meet other coaches from around the country and from around the world.
Be sure to bring a pen and a notepad to take notes during the educational sessions!
Always carry business cards – you never know who you’ll bump into at Convention!
