Recognizing the need for focused education in the area of sports performance, the United Soccer Coaches is initiating a coaching development course that is designed to educate coaches in the areas of strength and conditioning, nutrition, exercise physiology, and performance testing that are relevant to soccer. For the first time we will combined the attacking and defending aspects of the final third into a diploma. There will be technical sessions specific to finishing, and goalkeeping sessions related to positions, footwork, and more.
